THESE SKATES WERE CUSTOM ORDERED THROUGH BAUER FROM A PLAYER WHO LOVED THE HEEL LOCK THE NXG PROVIDES AND THE INNER LINING IT HAS, WHICH IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN TODAYS NEW MODELS. THAT SAID, THE BIGGEST DIFFERENTIATOR IN THESE SKATES IS THE EYELETS. THESE SKATES COME WITH TRADITIONAL EYELETS, WHICH THE MAJORITY OF PROS GET ON THEIR CUSTOM SKATES STILL TODAY. HOWEVER, SKATES IN STORES ONLY COME WITH THE PLASTIC MOLDED EYELET HOLES WHICH ARE INCONSISTENT IN THEIR LACE HOLD AND DONT ALLOW FOR FLEX IN THE BOOT. THIS SKATE ALSO HAS A PRO CUSTOM FELT TONGUE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES.
