Bauer began developing a technology for goalie pads that enabled players to adjust their flex by inserting different types of foams at the pads break points. The idea was to allow goalies to try different flex options without having to order a custom set of equipment. MyFlex Technology allows goalies to achieve 4 different flex options by inserting foam rods above and below the knee. Goalies can completely change their pads performance by rearranging the configuration of their foam rods. MyFlex allows goalies to have a soft, break below the knee, break above the knee or hard construction within the same pad. Combined with an adjustable knee cradle strap, MyFlex gives goaltenders the next level of customization. MyFlex technology is only offered in the Supreme TotalOne goal pads. The Supreme TotalONE catch glove is a “butterfly” style glove made for maximum net coverage and rebound control. It fits and feels much like the Supreme One100 catch glove, with a few key differences to help maximize performance. The most noticable difference in the TotalONE catch glove is the one piece cuff and thumb. This rigid design stabilizes a large portion of the glove’s blocking surface, which makes rebound control more predictable on shots to the cuff. A slight flare at the very top of the cuff helps deflect rebounds forward and prevents puck skip over. The palm features the Bauer ALIVE composite design – a new thermo-compression molded palm insert made of Bauer’s EVA foam, as well as a shock dampening insert the fits directly over the fingers. These new components provide “no sting protection” in the palm, and because the EVA foam is built with breaks that run from the mid palm to the bottom of the T-Web, the foam does not interfere with glove closure. On the inside of the glove, pre-molded finger placement gloves with texture have been added to help make the glove easier to grip and close. The backhand features three adjustment straps (wrist, backhand, and fingers) for a more customized fit, and air knit finger stalls help with air circulation and palm drying. Finally, the segmented backhand features Bauer’s 3D Vent Armour Foam – a honeycomb shaped HD foam material that protects the backhand against slashes while also allowing for great ventilation. The pocket features a wide, deep double-T web which expands upon impact to stop puck rotation and helps eliminate pop outs. The T-bar at the top of the pocket is pre-molded for easy closure. The Supreme TotalONE blocker is a “Butterfly” style blocker designed for maximum coverage and protection. It features many of the same features as the popular Supreme One100 blocker with a few key performance and protection upgrades. The TotalONE blocker features a new thinner profile blocker board made of EPP dual construction. The board thickness measures only 1.375 inches, but the new foam construction allows for the same great protection that you’ve come to expect from the Supreme line. The board is beveled on the front for better paddle down play, and also in the back (at the cuff) for increased wrist flexibility. Board position is centered over the backhand for great balance. The side hand protection features a large HD foam shield that completely covers the hand, as well as extended forefinger protection that consists of one solid HD foam piece and one removeable HD foam finger extension. Thumb protection has been beefed up in the TotalONE blocker to include a larger thumb protection pad, and a seam has been added at the base of the thumb to provide for maximum thumb flexion. HD foam shields surround the fingers on the front and on the sides, with larger shields protecting the fingers. The palm is made of a cream colored nash with mesh finger gussets for added flexibility and breatheability. The grip areas of the palm (forefinger down through the palm area) are reinforced with a soft digital nash for grip and Bauer’s “AB-SORB” padding on the heel of the palm for added wear protection.
